Brighten up your porch

For my Mothers birthday I helped install two new decorative wall candle holders, which I had found at our local World Market. (Great store for any gift) for her front porch. It is just a little touch but it adds a really nice welcoming warmth. Little details like this can really make a house feel a little more like home.

First night in costa rica…

A night camping on the beach at Playa Avellanas…

Waves crashing and then smoothly regressing on the sand, slow breeze carrying cool ocean air. Soft flicker of the candle lights my pen as I write trying to calm my mind during these often long nights. A slice of moon hovering over the oceans horizon and its reflection floats underneath, shimmering like the countless starts glittering through the nurturing outstretched arms of the trees. Here I lay trying to let go of all my worries and doubts and just be.
